Andrew Le Sueur steps down as Jersey Law Commissioner

Andrew_Le_Sueur2013Professor Andrew Le Sueur‘s five year term of office as a member of the Jersey Law Commission expired on 7 October 2018. He will continue to work with the Commission until completion of the forthcoming report Designing a Public Services Ombudsman for Jersey, which is due to be published later this month.

Professor Le Sueur said: “It has been a privilege to serve on Jersey’s independent law reform agency. During my five year term of office, I have been the Topic Commissioner leading on two major projects — Improving Administrative Redress in Jersey (October 2017) and the current project on implementing an ombudsman scheme. I hope that each will help improve the quality of people’s lives and the Jersey legal system”.
